Toddler sits near Mamma and tells her in an important tone “Mamma I want to say something”
‘She’s picking up communication and manners from us really well’, mom can’t help noticing.
Setting the iPad aside, the curious Mom now turns around to pay full attention, “Yes Darling! Tell me what do you want to say?’
‘I want to tell you a story’.
Mom, surprised since she can’t yet speak her sentences properly- ‘Oh vow! Please go ahead. I am all ears.‘
Toddler weaves some long story imagining all her favourites, babbles non-stop, brooking no interference, whether in the form of corrections, questions or even doubts and finally concludes ‘Over’.
Mom, initially a little astounded at the attitude, slowly breaks into a smile, gushing inside ‘Vow! A budding fiction writer like me.’
